According to Gloria Valenzuela, Club Secretary of Rotary Club of Bayambang, they visited the BJMP, specifically the Correctional Institution for Women, to give them hope, motivate them to keep themselves out of trouble, and give them something to look forward to.
“Our visit really does make a difference for them, since it keeps them connected to the outside world. It also shows them that they still have people who care enough for them to the extent of coming and spending time with them. I think you will be doing a good thing especially by helping the ones who don’t get to see their loved ones,” Valenzuela added.
The inmates were given free toiletries and food. Aside from this, they were treated to fun and games, such as “Trip to Jerusalem” and “Bring Me,” which they actively participated in. (Bayambang PIO/Media Affairs Office)
