Mayor Cezar T. Quiambao spearheaded the launching of the Core Local Roads Project in Sitio Lopez, Barangay Bacnono last Monday, December 19.

According to Consultant on Economic Affairs Levin Uy, the road construction in Bacnono is only the beginning of MCTQ’s thrust in the town to make a road network – a main road connecting all barangays in the town.

With this development, MCTQ has ordered Municipal Engineer Eddie Melicorio to make the concrete roads durable and withstand all kinds of vehicle.

“Also to help our people, gusto ko ang mga magtatrabaho ay manggagaling sa barangay na ginagawan ng kalsada,” MCTQ added.

MCTQ assigned former Councilor and now Consultant for Barangay Affairs Gerry Flores to oversee the road constructions and to make sure no corruption will happen.

The local chief executive encouraged Bayambangueños to be vigilant and serve as watchdogs and report any form of corruption directly to him, if possible, or to Mr. Flores.

Towards the end, Bacnono Barangay Captain Ferdinand Lomibao thanked MCTQ for his unwavering and unprecedented assistance to his constituents not only in his barangay but to all the people of Bayambang. (Bayambang PIO/Media Affairs)
