The opening set for the Zumba Fiesta Party was led by ZIN Rizza O. Masiglat together with her posse, Mark, Bea, Filipinas and Angelica, while the main set was made even more explosive with ZIN Mark Kramer Pastrana as the lead. Mark is known as a co-member of Vhong Navarro and Jhong Hilario in the popular ’90s dance group Streetboys.

Like an extended flash mob act, the mass dancercise kept the crowd moving for hours. There were additional members of the mob this year because of the newly formed zumba group in Langiran. According to Levin N. Uy, the zumba family in Bayambang is getting bigger and bigger as the group in Barangay Bacnono is still continuing and Barangay Sanlibo is looking to create their own group.

Mayor Cezar T. Quiambao gave Uy credit for the creation of the Bayambang Zumba Fitness Club in 2015. “Ako po ay natutuwa na kayo po ang pinaka-malaking zumba crowd sa buong Pangasinan,” Mayor Quiambao said. Zumba, according to Mayor Quiambao, is the cheapest form of exercise, which is why he encouraged Bayambangueños to maintain these activities and continue to improve them to ensure better health conditions in the town.

We can tell from the big grins despite all the sweating, huffing and puffing that everyone had a good time knowing their effort of reaching their health goals can be achieved through Zumba.
