Students from Bayambang National High School (BNHS) made their school proud as they emerged on top during the High School Quiz Bee 2017 organized by the Municipal Library, led by Municipal Librarian Leonarda Allado, at the Balon Bayambang Events Center on the afternoon of November 29.

Bienesto Fidel A. Junio, Grace Ann E. Aquino, Ryan Louis M. Lorenzo, and Don Cedrick C. Gigante, all participants from BNHS, came home as the first, second, third, and fourth placers respectively on what Vice-Mayor Raul R. Sabangan called a “friendly competition.”

Aside from BNHS, A.P. Guevarra Integrated School, Beleng NHS, Tanolong NHS, Sanlibo NHS, Moises Rebamontan NHS, Tocos NHS, and Hermoza NHS also participated in the event.

The Quiz Bee is part of the celebration of the 83rd National Book Week with the theme “Libraries Take Action: Providing Access and Opportunities for All.”
