In answer to the call to fight poverty in Bayambang, the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), in partnership with the Kasama Kita sa Barangay Foundation, Inc. (KKSBFI), organized a livelihood workshop on November 29 at the KKSBFI in Amanperez where farmers’ wives from different barangays were taught how to make marketable products.
MAO’s very own Diana Cayabyab demonstrated how to make paper flowers using recycled materials such as scratch paper, plastic wrappers, cartons, and wires. The participants who attended the seminar were also given the chance to create their own products.
Municipal Agriculturist Artemio Buezon thanked the participants for attending and encouraged them to share what they learned to their neighbors.
