Kristine Roxas brought home a gold medal in the Pair Poomsae event during the Luzon Leg of Batang Pinoy 2017 held in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur on October 21-28.

Roxas also won bronze in Individual Poomsae, while Princess Ann Alcazar won bronze in Pair Poomsae.

Both are qualifiers for the National Batang Pinoy 2018 to be held in February in Dumaguete City.

Roxas and Alcazar were recognized by the local government together with their coach, Joseph Eden, after Monday’s (Oct. 30) traditional flag-raising ceremony.
