Bayambangueña Pasalubong Center Opened


Bayambang’s First Lady Niña Jose-Quiambao graced the launching of the Bayambangueña Pasalubong and Tourist Assistance Center together with local officials on October 30 at the Bus and Van Terminal.

A joint project of the Municipal Tourism Department headed by Rafael Saygo and the Local Council of Women of Bayambang chaired by Jose-Quiambao, Bayambangueña is aimed at promoting the town to visitors while providing a means of livelihood to local makers of handicraft and artisanal food products.

Among the products sold are bottled odorless buro, home-made peanut butter, vacuum fried vegetable chips from the PSU-DOST I Food Innovation Center, and ladies’ bags made of corn husk – all made in Bayambang.
