Mayor Cezar T. Quiambao, together with the new Bayambang police chief, Police Supt. Cirilo B. Acosta Jr., led the ceremonies on August 2 at the Municipal Covered Court to mark the launching of a program for drug ‘surrenderers’.

The program was initiated by the Kasama Kita sa Barangay Foundation Inc. headed by former alderman Levin Uy.

The foundation is pursuing its ‘MY BUKAS PA’ project which is designed for Bayambangueños. ‘MY BUKAS PA’ stands for BUhay KAbuhayan Sama-sama sa PAg-asa.

Rotary Involvement

Elements of the Rotary Club of Bayambang headed by its president, Dr. Leticia B. Ursua, and assistant governor, Lita A. Bautista, made their presence felt as they involved themselves in the ‘MY BUKAS PA’ project. In attendance were Rtn. Rowena Fernandez, Rtn. Khrisna de Vera, Club Secretary Gloria Valenzuela, Spa & Wellness Trainor Cristina Reyes, and Cluster Secretary Juidylyn Frias.
