The election protest case (No. SCC-2016-01) filed last year by Ricardo M. Camacho against Raul R. Sabangan et al. is dismissed by the Court.

In a decision dated April 28, 2017, Acting Presiding Judge Jaime L. Dojillo Jr. writes, “…[PROTESTANT CAMACHO’S] motion to exclude the votes cast in the thirty eight (38) clustered precincts… is DENIED. On the other hand, [PROTESTEE SABANGAN’S] motion/manifestation to consider the protest as terminated is GRANTED and this case is hereby ordered DISMISSED.”
