Bouncing back after suffering their first loss against Team Umingan, Bayambang Local Government Unit Basketball Team swept Mangaldan LGU Team in a blow-out game 85-68 at the ongoing Pangasinan Inter-LGU Unity Games sponsored by Governor Amado I. Espino, III.

Playing in their hometown with the crowd on their back, Team Bayambang played their hearts out so as to not dismay the roaring home crowd that trooped to the town’s newly renovated and fully air-conditioned Events Center to watch their game.

No less than Bayambang Vice-Mayor Raul Sabangan and Councilor Philip Dumalanta starred in the game, giving sterling performance.

Mangaldan only got close in the game during the first quarter 23-19 and trailed through the rest of the match.

Bayambang is now 2-1 in the standing.
