In his August 14, 2018 letter addressed to Mayor Cezar T. Quiambao, National Economic and Development Authority Region I (NEDA RO1) Director Nestor G. Rillon commends the Mayor’s Office for “spearheading the formulation of the Municipality’s Poverty Reduction Plan (BPRP) for the next 10 years.”
Director Rillon describes the Anti-Poverty Summit in preparation for the Plan as “most notable” and Mayor Quiambao’s SOMA 2018 as “laudable” in its assessment of Bayambang’s performance along the areas identified by the Plan as the most crucial thrusts.
The LGU’s efforts and its vision of poverty-free Bayambang through the BPRP are “in line with the Filipinos’ vision of a ‘Matatag, Maginhawa at Panatag na Buhay’ by 2040,” Rillon adds.
