On September 6, 2022, a group of independent volunteers who are also volunteering for the St. Vincent Ferrer Parish (SVFP) in the various ministries in SVFP paid a visit to Mayor Niña Jose-Quimbao. These volunteers are very energetic and empathetic, love to serve the less fortunate, and wish to be able to do more as they see the plight of our poor and needy townmates regularly when they go around the periphery. Fortunately, Mayor Quiambao promptly donated an electric vehicle through the Kasama Kita sa Barangay Foundation Inc., as transportation is one of the constraints being faced by these volunteers.

The group profusely thanked the Mayor. They were also taught how to use the vehicle by an LGU staff.

On that same day, the volunteers managed to carry out some of their apostolic work in the parish, including visiting the sick and elderly and giving food items to indigent households.

Hopefully, this will be followed by more collaboration between SVFP and Bayambang LGU in order to better serve our townmates especially the marginalized. The vehicle will be stationed at the SVFP compound to be used for the various apostolic works of the parish.
