1st Semester Municipal Development Council Meeting

Noong June 20, ginanap ang Municipal Development Council (MDC) Meeting sa Balon Bayambang Events Center sa pag-oorganisa ng Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator. Dito ay tinalakay ang mga sumusunod, sa pangunguna ni outgoing Mayor Cezar Quiambao, incoming Mayor Niña Jose-Quiambao, at ang nagbabalik na si incoming Municipal Administrator, Atty. Rodelynn Rajini A. Sagarino.

– 20% Development Fund Accomplishment Report for 2021 and 1st Quarter of 2022

– 5% GAD Accomplishment Report for 2021 and 1st Quarter of 2022

– 5% DRRM Accomplishment Report for 2021 and 1st Quarter of 2022

– Presentation of Approval of Infrastructure Plan for 2023-2025

– Barangay Annual Investment Programming for 2023

Sa diskusyon ay na-update ang mga opisyales sa mga ongoing infrastructure at social development projects sa mga barangay at ang mga kasalukuyang pangangailangan sa road projects, multi-purpose covered court, multi-purpose hall, at iba pang kaugnay na proyekto.

Ayon sa presidential Executive Order No. 319, series of 1987, ang MDC ay isang special body na pinamumunuan ng mayor at kinabibilangan ng mga Barangay Captain, Chairman ng Appropriations Committee ng Sangguniang Bayan, mga concerned department at agency heads, at representante ng pribadong sektor.

Ang MDC ay inaatasan na umasiste sa Sangguniang Bayan upang maging malinaw ang direksiyon ng economic at social development ng bayan at mai-coordinate sa mga barangay ang lahat ng development efforts ng Munisipyo.
