On September 29, 2017, Beleng becomes the 10th barangay to host the Komprehensibong Serbisyo para sa Bayan. This one covers three other District 6 barangays, namely Balaybuaya, Batangcaoa, and Macayocayo.
Beleng Punong Barangay Eduardo Alcantara expressed his gratitude to Mayor Cezar T. Quiambao, Vice-Mayor Raul Sabangan, Municipal Councilors Martin Terrado, Amory Junio, and Philip Dumalanta, Municipal Administrator Atty. Raymundo Bautista Jr., Kasama Kita sa Barangay Foundation Inc. Managing Director Levin Uy, Compliance Officer on Good Governance Dr. Nicolas Miguel, Municipal Health Officer Dr. Paz Vallo, Komprehensibong Serbisyo Chairman Ismael Malicdem Jr., and the rest of the LGU employees who had a hand in making this ‘edition’ of the project a success.

As the one in charge of the host venue, Beleng Elementary School Principal Leny Malicdem took the opportunity to thank Mayor Quiambao for approving the Special Education Fund which she said has given them enough money to repair the damaged roof on their school. According to her, it had never been repaired since she started teaching there 21 years ago. Malicdem proudly announced that the plants on their school property provide them with enough vegetables to continue with their feeding program. This is in line with the call of Mayor Quiambao for all households in the barangays to have their own backyard gardens to ensure that they are getting the proper nutrition that they need every day.
Prior to Beleng, Komprehensibong Serbisyo sa Bayan has been taken to Warding, Manambong Sur, Bongato East, Pantol, Amancosiling Sur, Sancagulis, Pangdel, Hermoza, and Tanolong, in this order, with tens of thousands of beneficiaries served. In Beleng Komprehensibo, 1,134 beneficiaries from the four barangays covered were reportedly served.
