Municipal Administrator Rodelynn Rajini Sagarino expressed her elation over the activity and said that the activity was very timely. A lady lawyer and an advocate of women equality, Sagarino talked about the importance of this kind of activity in terms of empowering women by giving them the same livelihood opportunities as men.

Atty. Sagarino reiterated that the time has come for women to be empowered, as there are so many women today who are in the same field where men have excelled exclusively for countless of times.

For this activity, she said, “There may be a lot of male chefs today, but let us show them who the true ‘Queens of the Kitchen’ are.”

The contestants of Bb. Bayambang 2017 were on hand to assist the participants in the day’s activity. Also present were Councilor Martin Terrado, the wives of other councilors, and other female department heads of the LGU. (Bayambang PIO/Media Affairs Office)
