Bayambang delegates led by Bayambang Municipal Council on the Culture and the Arts (BMCCA) Executive Director Januario Cuchapin and Tourism Officer-in-Charge Gloria Valenzuela joined the province of Pangasinan on January 9, 2017 in Lingayen as the province celebrated the 72nd anniversary of the historic landing of the Allied Liberation Forces led by General Douglas MacArthur in Lingayen Gulf in 1945.

Joining Cuchapin and Valenzuela were Public Information Office writer Darwin Magalong and Municipal Tourism Office technical staff Krishna Cayabyab.

The commemoration also coincided with the celebration of the 10th Pangasinan Veterans’ Day to honor local veterans who fought alongside the American forces as well as the Filipinos who sacrificed their lives in the name of freedom. (Bayambang PIO/Media Affairs Office)
