An orientation on the Department of Labor and Employment’s cash-for-work program TUPAD or “Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers” Program was held on June 21, 2019 at the Balon Bayambang Events Center.

Aided by Bayambang’s Public Employment Services Office, DOLE Region I’s Central Pangasinan Field Office Head Engracio Q. Bailon and Labor and Employment Officer Jomer C. Sicat explained to 74 beneficiaries from Brgys. Bongato East, Bongato West, Carungay, and Tampog. PESO said the list of names were obtained from MDRRMO’s list of victims of Typhoon Ompong.
