Bayambang sealed this year’s town fiesta with grandeur and elegant merriment with its People’s Grand Ball and Balikbayan Night even made special by the presence of the OPM legend, Mr. Rey Valera, at the town plaza last April 2.

One of the night’s highlights was Valera performing his hit songs and singing with no other than Mayor Niña Jose-Quiambao, Vice Mayor Ian Camille Sabangan, and Third District Representative Rachel “Baby” Arenas. He also serenaded and set the hearts of balikbayans and the townspeople melting with his classic and timeless hits.

Also, groovy beat and catchy music rendered by Don Podring Orchestra dominated the whole night with hundreds of Bayambangueños from different sectors and especially balikbayans sharing good food, singing and dancing to festive music, and enjoying the company of one another.

Meanwhile, the highly acclaimed Matalunggaring Dance Troupe once again showcased the Bayambangueños’ world-class talents as it performed the different traditional dances of the country, leaving the spectators in awe of its breathtaking “Sayaw ed Tapew ya Bangko.”

Moreover the Pangasinan DI Association also performed classic and modern dance routines that kept the audience dancing and grooving all night long.

Leaving notable and heartfelt messages for the night were this year’s Hermano and Hermana Mayor, Dr. Nicolas and Dr. Myrna Miguel, Municipal Mayor Niña Jose-Quiambao, Vice Mayor Camille Sabangan, and Third District Representative Rachelle “Baby” Arenas.

The newly crowned binibinis from the recently concluded Binibining Bayambang 2023 also made an appearance during the celebration that made the night even more glamorous, on top of the already grandiose set-up under the direction of the energetic Sangguniang Bayan Secretary Joel V. Camacho.

Capping off the night is an astonishing fireworks display which served as a reminder to every Bayambangueño that there is truly no place like home.
