Strategic Planning-Workshop Held for GAD Focal Point System Officers and Members

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Bayambang held a 2-day Gender and Development (GAD) Planning-Workshop on December 5-6 at CSFirst Green Agri-Industrial Development, Inc., Brgy. Amanperez.

Phase 1 involved a review and updating of the MSWDO Strategic GAD Directions, while Phase 2 comprised of workshops on Gender-Responsive Goal Setting and Targeting.

OIC MSWD Officer Kimberly P. Basco discussed the ‘Level of Functionality of MSWDO’, and ‘Bayambang Social Welfare and Development Situationer,’ whereas Ryan F. Barcelo facilitated the workshops on mission-visioning and ‘Crafting the MSWDO Functional Statement’.

Barcelo also spearheaded the workshops entitled “Crafting of Objectives, KRAS, Indicators, and Targets’, and ‘Mental Strength for SWD Employees’.

In attendance, aside from Basco, were HRMO head Nora Zafra, Internal Audit Unit head Erlinda Alvarez, MPDO Ma-lene Torio, Tourism head Rafael Saygo, DILG representatives, and MSWDO officers and staff.
