The MDRRMO, after receiving an urgent call from Tampog Punong Barangay Roldandino F. Agabao on September 25, responded to a report of two boys drowning in Banaoang River in Brgy. Tampog early in the day.

The boys were identified as Dave Reqarep. Feliciano, 18 years old, and Christian Jay Sanchez Ragos, also 18 years old, of Brgy. Tampog.

According to a report from POSO, the two boys drowned after following another friend who had urged them to cross the river like he just did.

The LGU’s rescue team was successfully able to retrieve the bodies.
