A total of 2,711 little people in white togas from the different barangays filled the Events Center on April 17, 18, and 19 for the 28th Pre-K1 and Pre-K2 Mass Recognition Program.
With the theme, “Strengthening Early Childhood Care and Development through Quality Child Development Service,” the graduation rites had as guests of honors and speakers Municipal Mayor, Dr. Cezar T. Quiambao, and former San Carlos City Councilor, Hon. Vici Ventanilla, and as special guest, 3rd Dist. Congresswoman, Hon. Rose Marie ‘Baby; J. Arenas.
Vice-Mayor Raul R. Sabangan and Municipal Councilor and Committee Chair on Education Mylvin ‘Boying’ Junio greeted and congratulated the young completers, while Municipal Chief of Staff and Legal Officer, Atty. Raymund B. Bautista Jr, spoke in behalf of the Mayor. “There are three dream killers,” he told his frisky young audience and their ever-watchful guardians. “These are the fear of failure, fear of success, and lack of work ethic.” Bautista encouraged the guardians to serve as inspiration instead of becoming obstacles to realizing the dreams of our town’s hope and future, the young ones.
MSWDO Lerma Padagas, together with the President of the Federation of Child Development Workers of Bayambang, Marvin P. Bautista, and his fellow FCDW officers, led the pupils as they collectively stood up to be recognized as fresh graduates of Pre-K1 and Pre-K2 for the school year 2017-2018.
