The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) under SFO3 Raymond C. Palisoc, in cooperation with LGU Bayambang, has lined up a month-long series of information and education campaign around Bayambang’s 77 barangays through Ugnayan sa Barangay, specifically targeting schoolchildren and teachers, 4Ps members, barangay councils, and CVOs.

BFP kicked off the month-long observance with a motorcade last March 1 to drum up public awareness on the reality of the hazards of fire on life and properties.

This year’s theme highlights the importance of self-initiative in observing fire prevention and safety: “Ligtas na Pilipinas ang Ating Hangad, Pag-iingat sa Sunog sa Sarili Ipatupad.”
