The 339 scholars of LGU-Bayambang met with Mayor Cezar T. Quiambao at the Balon Bayambang Events Center on Friday, February 23, to discuss with him their current concerns.

Municipal School Board Chairman Dr. Rolando Gloria presided over the meeting, which gave the scholars a chance to voice out their different concerns and suggestions regarding their budget for 2019.

Among the concerns discussed were about the allowance for practice teaching students and the grades that the scholars are required to maintain. Gloria said matters will be raised to the School Board as they allocate the budget to provide for the needs of the students in the following year.

In the meeting, Mayor Quiambao stressed the importance of education, saying, “Malayo ang mararating natin kung tayo ay mayroong edukasyon, kaya hanggat may pagkakataon at may oras, take advantage of the opportunity para makamit natin ang pinakamataas na edukasyon na kaya nating abutin.”
