On January 22, former Mayor Cezar T. Quiambao together with Governor Ramon Guico III attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly expanded and renovated operating room (OR) of the Bayambang District Hospital (BDH) in Brgy. Bical Norte.

Among those present were the new BDH Chief, Dr. Athena Marie C. Merrera, the head of Provincial Hospital Management, Dr. Dalvie Casilag, Bayambang Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Paz F. Vallo, and Rural Health Physician, Dr. Roland M. Agbuya.

BDH’s OR is now the biggest and the most equipped OR in the province.

The project efforts of the LGU-Bayambang, Kasama Kita sa Barangay Foundation, Niña Cares Foundation, and the Pangasinan provincial government made the projected newly renovated OR will be used for the first time by Pangasinenses who have registered for various major surgeries from January 23 to 27 through the help of Memphis Outreach Group (USA) and the University of Santo Tomas Medical Alumni Association.
