Representing the municipality in the first-ever National Anti-Drug Abuse Council Performance Award handed out by the DILG under Secretary Eduardo M. Año were Municipal Councilor Amory Junio, Chief of Staff Atty. Raymund Bautista Jr., OIC Police Chief Edgar Casison, MLGOO Romarie Soriano and DILG staff Ruth Cabote.
The Municipality garnered an ideal score of 100 points in the said awards.
The local officials received a check worth P250,000 from the DILG as part of the reward.
