The Regional Project Advisory Board (RPAB) of the Department of Agriculture Regional Office I in La Union has approved on November 20 the ‘Improvement of San Gabriel 2nd Farm-to-Market Road with Bridge’ project to be sponsored by World Bank through the DA’s Philippine Rural Development Program.
The meeting was attended by all the members of the PRDP Project Team, namely Municipal Chief of Staff and Legal Officer Atty. Raymundo B. Bautista Jr., Municipal Engineer Eddie Melicorio, Deputy Engr. Felipe Rivera and staff, Agriculture Office department head Artemio Buezon, Municipal Assessor Annie de Leon and staff, Municipal Treasurer Luisita Danan, Municipal Health Officer Dr. Paz Vallo, Municipal Planning and Development Officer Ma-lene Torio and staff, Local Civil Registrar Ismael Malicdem Jr., Municipal Social Welfare and Development Officer Lerma Padagas, and Luz Cayabyab of the Ecological Solid Waste Management Office.
Atty. Bautista presented the project to the Board, aided by Engr. Melicorio, after which they addressed the questions of the reviewing board.
With the RPAB approval, the project’s work and financial plan is now endorsed to the DA-PRDP’s National Program Coordination Office for final approval.
