For the first time in the history of Bayambang, Tourism Week was celebrated on September 2017 through the leadership our very first Senior Tourism Operations Officer Rafael L. Saygo. All the hard work of the office, which was then composed of Mr. Saygo and his assistant, Kristelle Jane Domingo, paid off as the Association of Tourism Officers of the Philippines and the Department of Tourism conferred the award during the 19th ATOP National Convention held in Cagayan de Oro, Misamis Oriental.

The 4-day convention on October 3-6, 2018 gathered Tourism Officers from all over the Philippines to recognize the vital role of tourism in the growth and development of the country.

Mr. Saygo received the trophy together with Pangasinan Provincial Tourism Officer Maria Luisa A. Elduayan and Information and Communications Technology staff Patricia M. Espino.

The Quiambao-Sabangan Administration fully supports Tourism in the Municipality and this award is just the mark of the full bloom of the tourism industry in Bayambang.
