DTI-R1 2019 Cities Municipalities Competitiveness Index
| Bayambang Leads Ilocos Region in Government Efficiency, Resiliency, and Overall Competitiveness

The Municipality of Bayambang was adjudged as one of the leaders in the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) 2019 Regional Competitiveness Summit held at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, San Fernando, La Union, OIC Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator Ma-lene Torio reports.

Among 1st and 2nd class municipalities in Region I, Bayambang placed No. 1 in the area of Government Efficiency (74th place nationwide), 3rd in Resiliency (74th nationwide), and 3rd in Overall Competitiveness (86th nationwide), she said.

Earlier, all LGUs in the Region were ranked by the DTI according to the four pillars of competitiveness, namely Economic Dynamism, Government Efficiency, Infrastructure, and Resiliency.
