MCTQ Leads Top Municipal Officials in Attending Congressional Meeting on Mangabul Bill

Mayor Cezar T. Quiambao led municipal officials in attending the latest Congressional Committee on Natural Resources Meeting at the House of Representatives in Batasan Complex, Quezon City, on Nov. 27, 2019, pertaining to House Bill No. 4088 authored by Rep. Rosemarie ‘Baby’ Arenas with the title, “An Act to Reclassify the Mangabul Reservation in the Municipality of Bayambang, Province of Pangasinan, into Alienable and Disposable Land of the Public Domain for the Purpose of Redistributing the same to the Bone Fide and Long-Term Farmers/Occupants Thereof, and for Other Purposes.”

Accompanying Mayor Quiambao were former Congresswoman Rachel Arenas, Councilor Benjamin Francisco de Vera, Councilor Martin Terrado II, Councilor Philip Dumalanta, Councilor Joseph Vincent Ramos, Councilor Levinson Nessus Uy, Municipal Administrator Atty. Raymund B. Bautista Jr., and Task Force Mangabul Members including former Vice-Mayor Jose ‘Boy’ Ramos, Municipal Assessor Annie de Leon, Dr. Nicolas Miguel, Dr. Francisco Zaragoza, Consultant on Agrarian Concerns Pascual Manalang, MDRRMO head Genevieve Benebe, and Municipal Engineer Eddie Melicorio.
