Rural Health Units I and II have carried out Department of Health’s ‘Ligtas Tigdas’ program from October to November 2018 which aims to stamp out measles among young children in the 77 barangays.

According to official data, the combined total for measles and rubella vaccination is 12,056 children, which is 87% of the 13,820 target.

The team also gave oral polio vaccines to 13,076 children, which comprise 85% of the 15,356 target.
