The Sangguniang Bayan Committee on Land Utilization, Zoning, Town Planning and Housing has conducted a public hearing on the proposed updated Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Zoning Ordinance on May 23 at the Balon Bayambang Events Center.
Presiding over the hearing was Committee Chairman Councilor Amory M. Junio, assisted by Vice-Chairman Coun. Junie J. Angeles and their members Coun. Ma. Catalina E. De Vera and Coun. Benjamin Francisco S. De Vera, who is also the Chairman of the Committee on Ordinances.
Present during the hearing were Mayor Cezar T. Quiambao, Arch. Felino Palafox Jr. and his team of urban planners and architects, and the leaders and representatives of various stakeholders.
The municipal ordinance being proposed is entitled, “An Ordinance Adopting the Integrated Zoning Regulations of the Municipality of Bayambang and Providing for the Administration, Enforcement, and Amendment Thereof and for the Repeal of All Ordinances in Conflict Therewith” and the accompanying resolution being proposed is entitled “Resolution Adopting the 10-Year Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) 2018-2027 of the Municipality of Bayambang.”
