The Manambong Sur Farming Association opened an agricultural supply store last May 18 — its way of spending the seed capital the group has received from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) under its Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP).
With the group during the inauguration were the DSWD-Municipal Link officers led by Project Development Officer Ayen Garin-Sison and Municipal Link for Manambong Sur Dave Doctolero.
Gracing the opening was Manambong Sur Punong Barangay Alain Lacerna, who encouraged the association to grow their newly set-up business.
“Sa proyektong ito, hindi na kailangang magpunta pa ng bayan ang mga magsasaka dito sa Manambong dahil kaparis lang ang presyo ng mga agri supplies,” Lacerna said.
