Another Bayambangueño, this time an LGU-Bayambang employee, exhibited “an extraordinary act of kindness and honesty” after he returned a lady’s bag containing P200,000 on November 21, 2017.

According to the report of Public Order and Safety Office Chief Col. Vivencio Ramos, Security Force Officer (SFO) Ruben G. dela Cruz was on duty at the public plaza when he found the bag containing the money and other valuables. Without hesitation, Dela Cruz immediately returned it to the rightful owner in the presence of Mayor Cezar T. Quiambao.

LGU-Bayambang conferred to SFO Dela Cruz a Certificate of Appreciation after the Monday flag ceremony of December 12 at the Events Center.
