Citing lack of evidence to back up allegations of fraud, cheating, irregularities, etc., the Regional Trial Court (San Carlos City) dismissed the election protest filed by Zenaida B. The Court said that, as per the completion of the review of all ballots cast in Bayambang’s 118 clustered precincts during the last elections, the result “confirmed the electronic count showing protestee the undisputed winner over the protestant by a wide margin.” “Apparently, the protestant does not have any evidence to back-up her accusations,” the Court adds.
