There is a flurry of construction activities in town, as a result of the implementation of the Quiambao-Sabangan administration’s infrastructure development plan in the near term.

This development was set into motion with the renovation of the Municipal Covered Court which started last February and is scheduled to be finished by March 26, in time for the town’s fiesta celebrations.

The start of the construction of the Annex Municipal Building will soon follow, with the demolition of the Digitel building which formerly occupied the lot at the back of the Municipio.

Set to start soon are the following projects, as revealed in a recent meeting initiated by Mayor Cezar Quiambao with Municipal Engineer Eddie Melicorio and his team:

Renovation of Bayambang Public Market

Concreting of Core Local Access Roads around the barangays

Construction of a New Tricycle Terminal

Construction of Welcome Arch at Calvo Bridge

Construction of Welcome Arch at San Vicente

Construction of Welcome Arch at Nalsian

Construction of Welcome Arch at Malimpec

Bonery/Ossuary at Bayambang Public Cemetery

Municipal Library at the old BayWad Tower

Rehabilitation of Basketball Courts in Municipal Plaza

Construction of New Bus Terminal in Basista-Malisiqui Rd.

Construction of Police Community Precincts in 8 barangays

Construction of RHU 3 in Brgy. Carungay

Construction of RHU 4 in Brgy. Macayocayo
